Be good

It is remarkable how much pressure we have to endure to meet our own expectations and those of others. Although a bit of pressure can be good at times, we don't think it is healthy to constantly have to try to be perfect. So for this week, we chose a quote by John Steinbeck, from his novel 'East of Eden'.

And now that you don't have to be perfect,
You can be good
- John Steinbeck

We love this quote, because it shows that by the time you let go of this pressure, you can start to feel more peaceful with yourself and your environment. In other words it says, try to be the best you can be, but let go of the idea of being perfect.

We are working very hard on designing a bracelet that carries out this message!

What do you think of it? Do you agree, or do you think people should always strive for perfection?

Love,
Lisa and Ivanna
